Two fantastic days of shooting

On Tuesday we had a full day at the Polynesian Cultural Centre. We started with Shea receiving ukelele lessons. (the old guitar lessons came in handy) Then it was on to spear chucking. Over in the New Zealand village Shea was taught about Poi balls and gave them a try - very comical - we watched a big canoe extravaganza and then we moved on to the Hawaiian Village where Shea learned how to hula. Very pretty stuff and really funny - she giggled all the way through it. (I'll add some pics later when Unky Duck sends me some) She crushed some poi and we watched a comical show in Samoa.

On Wednesday We went up in the Ultralights. Shea and I went up and Clark followed in a strange little vehicle that resembled a bicycle with wings. They call it a Breezy. We were able to perform some synchronized flying and it was quite simply the most exciting thing I've ever done! Shea looked fantastic in a lime green flight suit - again I'll get a pic on here as soon as I can.

What an amazing segment!

We really, really, really miss Robin. Wish he could have been here for this.

We highly recommend the Ultralights to everyone ....and the north shore of Oahu the next time you want a great vacation.

Today we leave for the Big Island and the volcanoes and camping night. Likely no internet connection tonight.

Shea did the poi balls but didn't do the sticks thing.

I don't know if you've been to Hawaii Philip but I know you'd really like it.
