Friday Night News

Viewed the new opening today at Midcan. Brad did a great job with incorporating Unky Duck's original concept and adding a few really interesting elements. Tony is slaving away and says he'll have a new shiny version ready tomorrow evening...Tony always seems to be in the edit suite 24/7.

Marnie has designed some new SheaWear. Tried to upload it here but I guess the file is too large. It looks really hot! Decided to post a shot of Shea with a giraffe...we sure are anxious to get to putting Kenya and Egypt together. So much material to work with.

Simon has updated the website to feature more recent production pics...he's now away for the weekend so all the updated features that I've
had a sneak peek at will be online by Wednesday.

Finally found a hotel in Honolulu - the city is very nearly sold out for the weekend we arrive. We'll be at the Aqua Marina Hotel in Honolulu for the first 2 nights. Definitely nothing fancy but hopefully everyone's comfortable.

Jamaican Home Stretch

Jamaica is in final online edit! Following final tightening of the script and some last-minute creative touhes by Unky Duck, the show is now in the hands of Tony at Midcan to work his magic. Brad at Midcan is building a new opening and bumpers (between scenes graphics) and rumour has it the sparkly new episode will be ready Friday. Thanks to Carrie for jumping in to get Shea to Midcan for some last minute voiceovers and to Midcan's Ben for squeezing us in. Thanks Shea for dropping everything when needed! When this is all done it will be the closest to an actual show that any of us has seen.

Ken brought by Dan to show us some ideas for "Shea Wear" - some great shirts and bags for the upcoming shoot and for eventual marketing on the website.
Marnie is going to add the designer touches and for some killer clothing.

Unky Duck is re-digitizing NZ but feels that with the new opening and bumpers the NZ episode will look quite dressed up already.

Simon's updating the sheasrockinworldtour website. New sell sheet has been added and more updates soon!

Shaun's injured financee Kaleigh has been putting in hours timecoding. She's probably as close to the Kenya episode now as those of us who were actually there! Muchos gracias K!

Hot Sauce continues to work on Hawaii and Allan's looking after licensing, insurance and customs. What would we do without him?

Hawaii's coming along.

Lots to do at the Polynesian Cultural Centre. Seven different villages with different activities in each - such as - hula and ukelele lessons, fire knife dancing lessons, coconut shucking, a bamboo raft ride, poi tasting, tattoos (temporary) canoes, a luau and more.

Confirmed shark adventure, Atlantis submarine tour, ultralight flight, surfing lessons with Sunset Suzy.

Looking good!

She's a pro!

Jamaica voice-overs are complete. Shea did a great job with excellent coaching from Hot Sauce and Unky Duck. Big thanks to Ben at Midcan. UD is hard at it at home to get it ready for Tony's fine tuning tomorrow.

Then the tough work begins on a rework of NZ. sigh But it will be worth it in the end.

Hawaii updates

Lots of good news re Hawaii episode.

The following are roughly confirmed activities for the next episode - final details are being worked out (not sure how much "investment" these activities are going to require") but here are some great features.

Ultralight flying - www.paradiseairhawaii.com

Surfing lessons with Sunset Suzy www.sunsetsuzy.com

Shark encounter - www.hawaiisharkadventures.com

Our band is Mixjah - a little info can be found at www.fearlesshawaiian.com

Add in a visit to Pearl Harbour, the Polynesian Cultural Centre, the volcanoes and a luau and you have the basic fundamentals of a great episode.
